However, with the progress of science and nano technology applications in surgery, better surgical methods are discovered; increasing the success rate for the children suffering from congenital heart disease. It is most important to have an early diagnosis so that treatment and surgery can be negotiated at the earliest possible time. The earlier the surgery is done the better would be the chances of survival for the child.

It is also very important that the parents protect the child from high physical and mental stress to prevent stress on heart and early heart failure. The parents should be careful to watch for the symptoms and ensure that the child receives proper medical attention in time.
