Obesity and heart disease are connected because obesity causes heart disease. In most cases; an obese person has more fat in his/her blood stream than normal and that can cause the arteries to clog which in turn will not supply the heart with blood. If the heart does not have adequate blood supply, you are likely to experience a heart attack.
